Designing the Swipe Deck: Motion, Clarity, Consequence

The deck shows the photo, amount, category, and story without burying the pay action. Motion cues left vs right. The brand accents signal playfulness without looking like a bank app.

Clarity first

Every card has to answer three questions immediately: how much, what kind of bill, and why now. If a payer needs to hunt, the design failed.

Motion with a job

Animation is not decoration here. It teaches direction, confirms a choice, and keeps the loop moving. The deck should feel physical enough that left and right are obvious.

Consequence matters

A right swipe is not a like - it opens checkout. That weight is intentional. Generosity should feel easy to start and serious to finish.
